How we research content

foodmenu editors research menu data directly from official restaurant sources: official websites, branded mobile apps and other published sources. We do not copy content from other informational websites. When data cannot be confirmed from a primary source, it is marked as unverified and a source note is included so readers understand the confidence level.

Verification standards

Each price record carries one of four verification statuses: Official (sourced directly from an official restaurant publication), Manual (confirmed by a foodmenu editor from a primary source), Auto-collected (gathered programmatically from a public official source), or Unverified (user-submitted or unconfirmed). We display this status prominently alongside every price.

Who can edit

Published content is edited exclusively by the foodmenu editorial team. We do not accept guest-written restaurant promotions or paid editorial placements. User-submitted price corrections are reviewed by an editor before any change is published to a live page.

Independence disclosure

foodmenu is an independent publication. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or financially sponsored by any restaurant chain, food delivery service, or food industry trade group. Coverage decisions are made purely on the basis of reader interest and informational value. Our advertising revenue comes from contextual display advertising and does not influence which restaurants are covered or how information is presented.

Corrections

We correct errors as quickly as possible after they are identified. If you find a price error or factual inaccuracy, please use the contact form to report it. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the relevant page.
